This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") sets out how VK LEGAL and VK LEGAL's lawyer (hereinafter referred to as "VK LEGAL", the "Data controller", "we", "us", "our") process your personal data that you may provide when visiting our website http://www.vklegal.lt/ (hereinafter referred to as the "Website"), when contacting us by e-mail, telephone or by submitting an enquiry via the Website, including the personal data VK LEGAL receives in the course of executing contracts with its partners or clients legal persons, if you are their employee or representative.

Personal data means any information collected by VK LEGAL about a natural person that helps to identify that person (e.g. name, surname, address, IP address, etc.) (hereinafter referred to as "Personal data"). 

It is very important that you read the Policy carefully because each time you visit the Website belonging to the Data controller, you agree to the terms and conditions described in this Policy. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not visit our Website or use our content and/or services. 

By submitting your Personal data (including data that you provide directly or indirectly by visiting the Website and using its services), you consent and do not object to the Data controller managing and processing it for the purposes and in accordance with the procedures set out in this Policy and the law.

Personal data that you provide to us when you call us, fill in an enquiry form on our Website, email us or come to our office.

Personal data for this purpose is retained for 1 (one) year from the date of receipt of the enquiry. In the event that you enter into a contract with VK LEGAL, such Personal data shall be stored in accordance with the procedure set out in the "For the purposes of providing legal services" section.

We process the Personal data of the client natural person who has entered into a contract with us for the provision of legal services, as well as the Personal data of the client's (natural's or legal person's) representatives, employees, and other persons related to the client's instructions; the Personal data that have been directly provided by the client or by the client's representatives, employees; and the Personal data that VK LEGAL collects from other sources for the purpose of the provision of legal services (e.g., registers, etc.).

Personal data for this purpose shall be retained for a period of 10 (ten) years after the end of the client's last instruction to VK LEGAL, unless a longer data retention period is provided for by laws and/or other legal acts,

Personal data is processed for the duration of the contract. Personal data shall be retained for 10 (ten) years from the date of termination of the contract, if the data is specified in the contracts.

Personal data is obtained directly from you as a candidate and/or from third parties providing recruitment services.

We will delete and/or destroy your Personal data within 5 (five) working days after the conclusion of the relevant contract with the selected candidate, unless you have expressly consented to the processing of your Personal data after the end of the recruitment process.

  7. to public authorities and bodies and other persons who perform functions assigned to them by law;
  8. to protect our rights or interests.

Data processors have the right to process the Personal data only under our instructions and only to the extent necessary.   6. request the erasure of the Personal data provided. This right shall be exercised in the cases provided for in Article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation;
  7. request to limit the actions of the processing of the Personal data;
  8. request that the Personal data you have provided, if it is processed on the basis of your consent or on the basis of a contract, and if it is processed by automated means, be transferred to another data controller, if this is technically feasible (data portability);
  9. lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate in relation to the processing of the Personal data.

After receiving your request, complaint or claim, we will provide a response no later than one month from the date of receipt of the relevant document. We have the right to refuse to exercise your rights on reasonable grounds. 

If, after receiving a request, complaint or claim, we have doubts about the identity of the person submiting the relevant document, we have the right to ask such person to provide proof of identity or to confirm his or her identity in any other manner acceptable to us.
